We’ve decided to treat both the Syrian kids and adults this Ramadan in Jordan. Since we promote unity, team-work and collaboration to the kids we are now pushing the adults to do the same. Sponsored by Project Amal ou Salam, and organized by the Fikrah team, we’ve brought together all the Syrian NGO’s in Jordan under one umbrella for a football tournament where each NGO is responsible for training a group of Syrian Kids. Come on, HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
While also giving kids a chance to engage, identify with others, have fun, exercise, and challenge themselves, Team sport and competition are great ways to promote so many positive values amongst the youth : compassion, collaboration, goals and purpose, overcoming obstacles and barriers, how to properly deal with defeat and victory.
